USVC Physio & Hydrotherapy Suite

What is Veterinary Physio & Hydrotherapy?

Veterinary physiotherapy and hydrotherapy are essential for helping animals recover from injuries, post-op surgical care, or maintaining overall wellness. Our comprehensive approach combines manual therapy, such as soft tissue work, with advanced electrotherapy and hydrotherapy techniques. Utilising an underwater treadmill, hydrotherapy provides a controlled environment that enhances muscle strength while reducing joint strain through the buoyancy and resistance of water. These therapies work together to promote tissue healing, improve mobility, and support your pet’s return to normal activities.

Our process begins with a thorough assessment, where we evaluate your pet both at rest and in motion to accurately gauge their musculoskeletal condition. Based on these findings, we develop a personalised treatment plan that includes tailored exercises and hydrotherapy sessions designed to meet your pet’s unique needs. The adjustable settings of the underwater treadmill such as speed, water height, and temperature allow us to target specific muscles and optimise recovery.

At USVC, our goal is to help your pet achieve excellent mobility and rediscover the joy of movement.
