Our Story
Umm Suqeim Veterinary Centre (USVC) was founded in 2014 by Dr. Malcolm Rose
and his wife, Dr. Monique Strange – both of whom continue to run USVC and care
for animals today. Recognising the need for a true 24-hour emergency facility in the region, USVC became the first fully operational 24/7 Emergency & Referral centre in the Middle East. With growing talent and popularity, we gradually expanded our
facility, adding the advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities you see today.
USVC offers a comprehensive range of services, from routine preventive care for healthy pets to early detection and treatment of diseases as your pet ages.
Our complete medical and surgical care is always available whenever you need it. Whether the issue is simple or complex, we are here for you and your pet every step
of the way.
Open 24 hours a day, our clinic is fully staffed with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support teams – All ready to help, day or night. If you ever have concerns about your pet, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Our Purpose
Our ethos is simple – We fix animals. And in the process, help their humans too.
Our Values
Integrity
We believe actions speak louder than words. Our decisions are guided by honesty, respect, and the best interests of both pets and their families.
Loyalty
We’re in this with you for the long run. Whether it’s with pet owners or other veterinary professionals, we build enduring relationships based on trust, respect, and teamwork.
Commitment
You can count on us. We follow through on our promises, ask for help when needed, and always strive to meet our high standards.
Learning
We are always hungry to learn and grow. We set goals, embrace challenges, and continually seek knowledge to improve our skills.
Work Ethic
We’re do-ers with a bias for action. We work hard, act decisively, and get things done.
